Where Can I Serve?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as praying, helping in pantry, to visiting the sick and sending out cards.
Prayer
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday before the morning service we pray for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week our Prayer Intercessory team prays for our pastor, our church members, our community, our missionaries, and any special requests, whether submitted on-line, in writing or in person. Requests for confidentiality are honored. We are a praying church! We take time each week in the church, in our homes, on the phone, by text and email to lift up those who request prayer.
Mission Outreach
Our church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in supporting missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We support Missionaries in India, Africa, the Middle East, South America, Japan, and the Philippines. We also support missionaries in the American Southwest (Navajo Ministries), Alaska, a University Campus Ministry in California, and Intervarsity Christian Fellowship (multiple campuses in New Jersey). We provide financial and practical assistance to Operation Christmas Child and local ministries such as Teen Challenge and Mission Teen. We have a Missions Moment the third Sunday of each month to give updates on how the Word of God is being share across the Globe.
Lending Library
For your convenience our church has a wide variety of christian books, including Bibles, Bible study books, romance novels, biographies, and books on evangelism and family life. We also carry a selection of CD’s, and DVD’s that are all available to be signed out.
Media & Technology
Using media to share the gospel is increasingly important in this time of social distancing. We have an opportunity to use technology for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio formats and some in video format as well. We are active on Facebook including Live feed of our Sunday services which are then achieved.
Worship
We seek to honor God through our worship . Church members, including children, are encouraged to get involved by singing, playing an instrument, or reading. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God. We welcome any age, skill-level or ability. All you need is to have a desire to play or sing to the Lord with all your heart! We are blessed to have many who are willing to share their gifts.
Congregational Care Ministry
The Congregational Care Ministry is a coordinated approach to caring for those who, because of illness, disability or declining health, are isolated from their church family and/or the community, or at risk to become isolated. This need for special care may be for a relatively short time or an extended season. The goal is that the caring team will lovingly provide Christian fellowship as they support those in our community of faith.
.Harvest Ministries
Harvest Ministries is a non-profit, charitable organization that distributes food to those who have difficulty purchasing enough groceries to avoid hunger. We work with Bucks County Opportunity Council to help those in need within our community. This ministry has expanded to meet the tremendous need caused by the Covid-19 crisis. Each of our programs are 100% volunteer operations and we are always looking for help. If you are interested in volunteering please contact us at (215) 639-5644.
